Position: Junior Accountant Location: Indore Experience: 2 Years About SourceBae: SourceBae is a fast-growing tech staffing platform connecting global companies with top remote developers. Role Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations, handle invoicing, ensure compliance, and support management with financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Zoho Books or Tally and a strong understanding of GST, TDS, and reconciliation processes. Key Responsibilities: 1. Accounting & Bookkeeping - Maintain accurate day-to-day accounting in Zoho Books or Tally. - Record and manage vendor invoices, client invoices, and expense entries. - Perform bank reconciliation, vendor ledger reconciliation, and payment tracking. - Manage accounts payable and receivable efficiently. 2. Client Billing & Vendor Payments - Prepare client invoices based on timesheets and project milestones. - Maintain vendor payout sheets and ensure timely processing. - Follow up with clients and vendors for payment updates and confirmations. 3. Compliance & Documentation - Maintain proper records for GST, TDS, and income tax. - Coordinate with CA firms for audits, filings, and compliance requirements. - Ensure accurate documentation and filing of all financial records. 4. Reporting & Analysis - Prepare weekly and monthly financial summaries (revenue, expenses, cash flow). - Assist management with MIS reports and financial projections. - Identify and flag inconsistencies or overdue payments proactively. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Proficiency in Zoho Books, Tally, or similar accounting tools. - Sound knowledge of GST, TDS, and reconciliation procedures. - Excellent Excel and reporting skills. - Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. - Good communication and accountability in managing financial operations.
