About Us VVT Coaching Centre is a prestigious educational institution and coaching center dedicated to providing top-notch coaching for NEET and JEE Main examinations We are committed to guiding students towards academic excellence and helping them achieve their goals in the competitive field of medical and engineering entrance exams Job Summary As an Academic Counselor at VVT Coaching Centre you will serve a pivotal role in assisting prospective and current students in their academic journey specifically focusing on admissions cold calling and counseling for NEET and JEE Main coaching programs Responsibilities Admission Process Guide prospective students through the admission process for NEET and JEE Main coaching programs Provide information on program details course structures fees and other relevant information Assist in completing application forms collecting required documents and ensuring a smooth enrollment process Cold Calling Initiate outreach efforts through cold calling to potential students and their parents Effectively communicate the benefits of our coaching programs address inquiries and promote the value of preparing for NEET and JEE Main with VVT Academic Counseling Engage with enrolled students to understand their academic aspirations and goals Provide personalized counseling to help students create effective study plans set realistic targets and manage their time and efforts efficiently Personal Development Provide guidance on effective study skills time management and stress management techniques to enhance students overall academic performance Collaboration Coordinate with admissions teams faculty members and other relevant departments to ensure a cohesive approach in addressing students needs and concerns Documentation Maintain accurate and organized records of counseling sessions admission interactions and follow-ups to track progress and measure the effectiveness of counseling efforts Orientation and Workshops Assist in organizing orientation sessions and workshops for new students introducing them to the coaching center s resources facilities and academic support services Continuous Learning Stay informed about trends and developments in the field of education admissions processes and coaching methodologies through ongoing professional development Requirements Bachelor s or Master s degree in related field Previous experience in academic counseling and student admissions Strong communication skills both written and verbal Confidence and effectiveness in cold calling and outreach activities Empathetic patient and dedicated to student success Proficiency in documentation and use of relevant software Ms Excel Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently Familiarity with the education sector and competitive exam coaching is a plus Location Adyar Chennai
