A Quality Assistant Manager Heavy Machinery is responsible for ensuring the quality of heavy machinery throughout its lifecycle from production to operation This involves implementing quality control procedures conducting inspections analyzing data and collaborating with various teams to maintain high standards and resolve any quality-related issues Key Responsibilities Quality Control Implementation Develop and implement quality control procedures for all stages of heavy machinery production maintenance and operation Inspection and Testing Conduct inspections of machinery components assemblies and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications Data Analysis and Reporting Collect analyze and report on quality data to identify trends root causes of defects and areas for improvement Non-Conformance Management Investigate and resolve non-conformances ensuring that corrective actions are implemented and documented Supplier Quality Management Evaluate and manage supplier quality ensuring that purchased components and materials meet required standards Collaboration and Communication Work closely with engineering manufacturing and other teams to address quality issues and promote a culture of quality Training and Development Train employees on quality control procedures and best practices Documentation and Record Keeping Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality records including inspection reports test results and non-conformance reports Continuous Improvement Identify and implement opportunities to improve quality processes and systems contributing to overall efficiency and effectiveness Compliance Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards regulations and company policies Auditing Conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of the quality management system and identify areas for improvement Required Skills and Experience Technical Knowledge Strong understanding of heavy machinery components manufacturing processes and quality control principles Inspection and Testing Skills Proficiency in various inspection and testing methods including non-destructive testing NDT Data Analysis and Problem-Solving Ability to analyze data identify root causes of problems and develop effective solutions Communication and Interpersonal Skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders Leadership and Management Ability to lead and motivate a team manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively Knowledge of Quality Standards Familiarity with relevant quality standards such as ISO 9001 and industry-specific regulations Experience Several years of experience in quality control or quality assurance within the heavy machinery industry JOB APPLY http jobs vinayakjob com CONTACT DETAILS - Name - ANJALI Number - 91 95034 51559
