Dispatch Officer For Steel Manufacturing Industry

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dispatch Officer to manage and coordinate the dispatch of goods and vehicles in a timely efficient and accurate manner The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that delivery schedules are followed vehicles are assigned appropriately and all related documentation is maintained as per company standards Key Responsibilities Plan schedule and coordinate daily dispatches of goods and materials Monitor and assign transport vehicles based on delivery priority and load capacity Communicate effectively with drivers warehouse teams and customers to ensure timely deliveries Prepare and maintain accurate dispatch records gate passes and trip sheets Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements e g e-way bills transport permits Track shipments using GPS and provide updates to relevant stakeholders Resolve delivery issues delays or vehicle breakdowns in a proactive manner Ensure all safety protocols and vehicle checklists are followed before dispatch Liaise with transport vendors and third-party logistics providers as needed Generate daily weekly dispatch reports and submit them to management Required Skills Qualifications Bachelor s degree or diploma in Logistics Supply Chain or a related field 2-5 years of experience in dispatch logistics operations preferably in industry type Strong knowledge of dispatch planning route optimization and transport coordination Proficient in MS Office especially Excel experience with ERP or TMS software is a plus Good communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work under pressure and solve real-time issues Familiarity with local and national transportation regulations Preferred Qualifications Experience in a manufacturing logistics FMCG steel industry modify based on context Knowledge of SAP Oracle or other ERP systems Understanding of fleet maintenance and fuel management Working Conditions Location may be plant-based warehouse-based or office-based Must be available for extended hours or weekends based on dispatch volume Occasional travel to logistics hubs or delivery sites may be required JOB APPLY http jobs vinayakjob com CONTACT DETAILS - Name - NAMRATA Number - 9109999660 Mail id - namrata vinayakjob com
