The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of design software, fonts, typesetting, image editing, and page layout principles. As a DTP Operator, you will be responsible for converting raw text and graphic elements into visually appealing formats that meet the company's branding and technical standards, ensuring accuracy and high production quality.Key Responsibilities:1. Document & Layout Design Design and format print-ready files such as brochures, books, manuals, pamphlets, certificates, business cards, advertisements, reports, etc. Align text and graphic elements as per layout requirements using design software. 2. Software Proficiency Use tools such as: Adobe InDesign Adobe Illustrator Photoshop CorelDRAW MS Office (Word, PowerPoint) for document formatting. Convert files to print-ready PDF or digital formats. 3. Proofreading & Corrections Perform spell-checks, grammar reviews, and layout consistency checks. Make edits as per author/editor instructions or design guidelines. Ensure fonts, sizes, margins, alignments, and images meet final output standards. 4. Pre-Press & Printing Coordination Prepare files for offset and digital printing with appropriate bleeds, resolutions, and formats. Ensure color accuracy, image clarity, and layout correctness for print production. Coordinate with printers or vendors for proof approvals and final output. 5. File Management Organize and maintain a library of templates, images, design assets, and backup files. Archive completed jobs systematically for future reference or rework. 6. Collaboration & Timelines Work closely with editors, designers, content writers, marketing, or production teams. Ensure timely delivery of files for internal and client-based projects.
