Job description Some careers shine brighter than others If youre looking for a career that will help you stand out join HSBC and fulfil your potential Whether you want a career that could take you to the top or simply take you in an exciting new direction HSBC offers opportunities support and rewards that will take you further HSBC is one of the largest banking and financial services organisations in the world with operations in 64 countries and territories We aim to be where the growth is enabling businesses to thrive and economies to prosper and ultimately helping people to fulfil their hopes and realise their ambitions We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist Work Location Bangalore Pune The role holder may be located in a variety of areas of HSBC they may be located in projects as well as in established BAU teams It is possible that the Business Analyst may support multiple projects simultaneously but mainly to real time Payments processing and Ach processing across countries The purpose of the role is to support delivery of Domestic Real time payments processing being hand on and write user stories based on BRD from the business and to produce high quality analysis and Agile design artefacts and provide support solution delivery team with deep business insight all enabled by appropriate tools and aligned to Dev Ops working The IT Business Analyst on GCB5 is expected to work embedded within a wider DOME EU team with engineering team architects testers and products owners and GPS business throughout the project lifecycle from project initiation and inception through elaboration and construction regularly handling multiple tasks and activities In this role you will Payments Industry Agile experience are essential Real time Payments and ACH scheme knowledge experience are essential Management of the Business analyst pool team Write Users stories and Contribute to Scrum activities sprint planning sprint ceremonies retrospectives stand-ups Highly skilled on Jira Confluence designer level rather than user level Coordinate Jira reporting with Development and DevOps leads for epics stories tasks Capturing analysing and documenting of business process including IT processes and convert them into user stories Designing of solutions or change interventions Managing the tracking and documenting progress and managing status reporting Implementing solutions and provide support to the technical team Define the most appropriate analysis approach to a problem opportunity and collaborate with multi skilled team to achieve the required goal Produce Component level flows in the form of Swimlane to define the sequence of payment processing Translate the requirements into Functional User story ensuring Acceptance criteria is correctly defined Working closely with solution delivery and production support team to ensure all new software is well understood and readily supported Review Test Cases and test Results to ensure requirements are being met Facilitating Production support and Handovers Requirements The main challenge is to be able to operate in a large dynamic pressurised environment where high-quality software solutions are needed rapidly to support an ever-evolving business Navigating this eco-system in order to deliver change is not necessarily easy and requires initiative self-motivation and drive Getting clarity on business requirements is not easy for a number of reasons and so the candidate will need to have some tenacity and drive to get the job done properly in occasionally difficult circumstances Additionally with the project team distributed in a number of regions -
