Position Overview:
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales and business development efforts within a designated region. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong relationship-building skills to engage with healthcare professionals, surgeons, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs). The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the medical device industry and demonstrate the ability to achieve sales targets while providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Execution: Implement effective sales strategies to achieve company objectives within the assigned territory. Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers (RSM) to align initiatives and meet sales goals.
Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, including surgeons and KOLs, to promote product adoption and expand market presence.
Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential opportunities, evaluate customer needs, and gain insights into competitor activities.
Presentations and Demonstrations: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations on products and services, highlighting their value proposition and benefits.
Sales Reporting: Regularly generate and present reports on sales performance, financial data, and market trends to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Event Participation: Represent the company at industry exhibitions, conferences, and seminars to enhance brand visibility and develop strategic partnerships.
Collaborative Efforts: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure unified efforts towards achieving company goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, or a related field.
Minimum 8+ years’ experience in sales, preferably within the medical devices.
Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
Self-motivated and results-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
