About Us Paytm is India s leading financial services company that offers full-stack payments financial solutions to consumers offline merchants and online platforms The company is on amission to bring half a billion Indians into the mainstream economy through payments commerce banking investments and financial services One97 Communications Limited that owns the brand Paytm is founded by Vijay Shekhar Sharma About the team Procurement Team manages the complete sourcing and contracting life cycle for Non Tech Procurement space for Marketing category by engaging with Internal Marketingoperations Vendors and responsible for vendor selection and negotiations Contract Compliance Vendor performance assessment and reporting About the role Selected candidates will be part of the Procurement team reporting into Purchase Head Procurement and will manage complete sourcing and contracting life cycle for Marketing category by engaging with Internal Marketing operations Provide pro-active support in new source identification assessment and evaluation as per strategic sourcing process RFP RFQ followed by PO documentation and compliance Expectations Requirements Procurement finalization for the ATL categories in Marketing Event Agencies for Product Launches All hands Road Shows Dealers Meet Suppliers Meet and Conferences etc Advertisement Agencies for managing all the Print advertisements OOH advertisements etc Digital Agencies for Website developments Mainline Communication Agency for drafting all the ATL activities for the Organization Public Relation PR agency for handling the Corporate affairs Agency for Video Shoot and Photography for any Product profile shoots Plant videos Customer testimonials and Process films etc Consultants Research Agencies for marketing On Line and Off line marketing vendor exposure and commercial finalization Interface with the client on Requirement Analysis establish category specific objectives and formulate sourcing strategies - specific to Marketing Quick Turn around time for finalization of Procurement activities Provide pro-active support in new source identification assessment and evaluation as per strategic sourcing process RFP RFQ followed by PO documentation and compliance General and Task Management Responsible for managing relationships and negotiating with key suppliers at a senior and strategic level Oversee team day-to-day operation and performance Negotiate contract terms with key suppliers to ensure value for money quality standards and delivery terms with technical and operational input from stakeholders if appropriate Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer supplier power Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers Develop an overall vendor base which creates and sustains a competitive advantage utilizing global market exploitation leveraging spends and leveraging technologies Develop implement and maintain a supplier relationship and evaluation process to measure effective supplier performance and compliance Ensure professional and consistent supplier management is applied across the supply base in line with the purchasing policy and OJEU guidance Work closely with Research Development to source new and alternative raw materialsPeople Management Provide leadership to departments under control Coach mentor and develop direct reports and manage a high performing team that delivers continuous improvement added value and cost reductions Set department objectives and monitor ongoing progress and performance Ensure strong communication between teams under leadership to facilitate exchange of information and in order to implement change and improvements Complete regular performance reviews manage attendance holidays disciplinary issues and procedures as appropriate Relationship Management Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance Work collaboratively negotiate and engage with key stakeholders to facilitate delivery and compliance with the purchasing strategy Recommend solutions without compromising quality or service while optimizing cost Contribute to new business initiatives and projects and review and communicate the impact on Procurement activities Self Management Inspire and motivating the team Knows develops the team and consistently manages performance firmly and fairly Resilient optimistic and open to change Shows moral courage openness and honesty in all dealings Self-motivated and able to work well under pressureSuperpowers Skills that will help you succeed in this role Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in procurement finalization and having experience for the ATL categories in Marketing is preffered including a minimum of five years in team management Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to optimise team performance and development Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage negotiate and manage key stakeholders and suppliers Strong and confident negotiator with the ability to negotiate at all levels Excellent communication interpersonal and influencing skills Strong leadership skills and the ability to direct team according to company standards Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Results-orientated with the ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines Education -
