Job Description

- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Handle all aspects of cost management, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Utilize cost performance tools to monitor and improve financial performance.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support business decisions.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns and other statutory reports.
- Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities as required.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff.

Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) certification.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in accounting and cost management.
- Proficiency in cost performance tools and techniques.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- In-depth knowledge of the Indian tax system, including direct and indirect taxes.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in IT industry.
- Knowledge of international taxation and transfer pricing.
- Familiarity with ERP systems.
