Job Description Job Summary and Mission We are looking for an astute procurement officer to oversee purchasing activities and ensure that purchased items are both cost-efficient and of high quality. The procurement officer's responsibilities include maintaining positive supplier relations, evaluating supply options, getting things on time, and maintaining accurate records. To be successful as a procurement officer you should have an analytical mind and keep up with product and service trends. Ultimately, a top procurement officer should be able to negotiate well and ensure that all purchases comply with company standards. Summary of Key Responsibilities . Responsible for Sourcing and supporting Tata Starbucks in terms of new vendor evaluation / development, managing the existing vendor, ordering & fulfilment any query / communication related to supplier. . Procurement of Raw Material/ Non-Food & OPEX all kind of Consumable Materials and Analysis of Vendor Performance & Price Variance & Purchase related all responsibility. . Arrange documents for vendor registration and QA audits for vendor qualification. . Preparing the Order tracking sheet and updating on the pending quantities and incorporate Delivery Status Tracker with ETA date for local ordering & Food core-non-core ordering. . Handling procurement planning & ordering of 500 + article codes of raw material/merchandise/consumables/etc for all stores across the country. . Setting up the procurement plan for new product, development of alternative local sources for imported raw materials which helps in cost saving. . Develop and maintain relationships with Key Suppliers and measure their performance on a consistent basis whilst looking out for new suppliers to support our growth strategy in India. . Work closely with the different departments to understand and service the requirements and perform all activities in procure to pay cycle. . Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships . Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms . Examine and test existing contracts and maintain records and carry out renewals on time. . Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness . Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company . Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients . Expect unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies . Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements . Preparing budgets, cost analyses, and reports. Page | 1 Qualification - Master's in supply chain management, logistics or business administration Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities . Proven working experience as a Procurement Manager, Procurement Officer . . Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in reading the market . Talent in negotiations and networking . Good knowledge of supplier or third-party management software . Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers .
