Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

- SEO-Optimized Content Creation:
- Write and edit SEO-optimized content, including blog posts, product pages, category descriptions, landing pages, FAQs, and promotional copy.
- Keyword Research:
- Conduct keyword research using tools such as Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Ubersuggest to identify high-traffic, relevant keywords for content.
- Collaboration with Teams:
- Work closely with SEO specialists, designers, and marketing teams to ensure content aligns with overall SEO and marketing strategies.
- Content Optimization:
- Optimize existing content for SEO to improve rankings, engagement metrics (CTR, time on site, bounce rate), and overall site performance.
- On-Page SEO Implementation:
- Implement best practices for on-page SEO, including optimizing metadata, heading structures, internal linking, and keyword placement within content.
- Stay Updated on SEO Trends:
- Keep up-to-date with search engine algorithm changes and SEO trends to ensure content remains competitive and aligned with current best practices.
- Data-Driven Content Improvements:
- Use data insights from traffic reports and keyword performance to guide continuous content optimization.
- Brand Consistency:
- Ensure that content follows brand tone, voice, and guidelines for consistency across all communication touchpoints.

Requirements:

- Proven Experience:
- Proven experience as an SEO content writer, copywriter, or in a similar role (portfolio required).
- Exceptional Writing Skills:
- Excellent written English, with impeccable grammar, spelling, and attention to detail, especially for a UK-based audience.
- SEO Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of SEO principles, particularly on-page SEO.
- Content Management Systems (CMS):
- Familiarity with CMS platforms like Salesforce or others for content creation and management.
- SEO Tools Proficiency:
- Experience with SEO tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or Screaming Frog for keyword research, analysis, and optimization.
- Audience & Brand Voice Understanding:
- Ability to write for different audiences and industries while maintaining a consistent brand voice.
- Strong Research Skills:
- Ability to research and translate complex topics into clear, digestible content for different audiences.
- Time Management:
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have:

- HTML/CSS Knowledge:
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS related to content structure for SEO.
- Industry Experience:
- Experience in e-commerce, health and beauty, tech, or lifestyle industries is a plus.
- Content Performance Metrics:
- Familiarity with content performance tracking in platforms like Google Analytics, Looker Studio, or HubSpot.
- AI Tools Knowledge:
- Familiarity with AI writing tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper) for ideation, though not for execution.
