Job Description

Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Wi-Fi L2 Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Aruba wireless networks along with good knowledge of routing and switching. The candidate will be responsible for supporting, troubleshooting, and optimizing enterprise Wi-Fi infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams for smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide L2 support for Aruba Wi-Fi networks, including configuration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

- Handle incident, change, and problem management related to wireless infrastructure.

- Perform root cause analysis for Wi-Fi issues and provide permanent fixes.

- Collaborate with the network operations team for routing and switching tasks as part of incident resolution and upgrades.

- Assist in the deployment, testing, and validation of Aruba wireless controllers, APs, and related services.

- Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.

- Work with vendors and OEMs for escalations when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 48 years of experience in Wi-Fi (Aruba) network support and administration.

- Strong hands-on expertise in Aruba wireless controllers and access points.

- Working knowledge of routing & switching (Cisco/Aruba/Juniper preferred).

- Good understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, STP, SNMP, DHCP, and DNS.

- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and ticketing systems.

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Certifications (Good to Have):

- Aruba Certified Mobility Associate/Professional (ACMA/ACMP)

- CCNA/CCNP (Routing & Switching or Enterprise)
