Job Description - Conduct manual and exploratory testing of the product. - Responsible for the execution of manual and automation test cases (scripts) that ensure comprehensive testing - Work in a Scrum team using Agile best practices - Fully document any unexpected anomalies or defects identified in testing with instruction of how to reproduce each - Troubleshoot defects and manage defect tracking and resolution processes - Establish and maintain good working relationships with peers in Development, Product Management, Professional Services and external clients - Participate in improving processes, automation and QA integration to DevOps culture - Organizational Alignment: - Reports to the Manager, Quality Assurance - Qualifications: Skills & Work Traits Required: - Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and a passion for Quality Assurance - A continuous learner, with knowledge of current industry-standard automation testing techniques and the drive to share knowledge with your colleagues - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent time and risk management skills - Team player with effective interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) - Flexible, self-motivated, and comfortable working with multiple teams - The ability to work effectively under pressure in a rapidly changing environment to meet deadlines - Passionate about understanding our clients - Committed to building high quality, secure, performant product and willing to pursue new learning in these areas - Flexible with mode of communication, whether it be with coworkers in-person or online. Able to contribute to an inclusive mindset to promote collaboration Preferred: - Experience with Agile and Scrum Methodologies - Technical Competencies Required: - Solid understanding of quality assurance principles and practices, particularly within an agile software development practice - In-depth experience writing and executing test plans and test cases from requirements and technical specifications - Experience with defect and work item tracking systems like JIRA Preferred: - Experience with testing cloud/distributed architectures, REST APIs & Microservices Experience Required: - Minimum3years of experience in Quality Assurance, including2+years of experience working in an Agile environment. - Testing web and mobile software applications in a SaaS or on-premises: 2+ years - Cypress automation experience and/or Appium: 2+ years Preferred: - Experience with backend testing using tools like SQL or Postman: 2+ years - Experience with EHSQ systems is an asset Education Required: - Bachelor s degree or college diploma in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience Preferred: - Certification within a recognized Quality program, such as CTFL, CASQ, CSQA or CSTE, is preferred
