The Quality Manager leads, mentors, and manages the Quality Assurance team to maximise efficiency and provide the highest quality standards for our products and services. This role involves developing and implementing quality assurance strategies, overseeing testing processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of professionals to deliver outstanding service.
- Provide training, support, and development opportunities to team members to ensure high performance and engagement.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for professional development.
- Foster a culture of quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies and processes to ensure product quality and reliability.
- Define and track key quality metrics to measure the effectiveness of QA processes for all products and services.
- Stay current with industry standards and emerging trends.
- Ensure thorough test coverage and effective use of automated and manual testing techniques.
- Continuously evaluate and improve QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product and service quality.
- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to improve QA processes and outcomes.
- Work closely with Implementation and Client Services teams to ensure alignment of quality goals and requirements.
- Communicate QA status, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
- Escalate issues and risks to senior management as needed.
- Develop and maintain QA documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure adherence to QA processes and standards.
- Maintain quality metrics and dashboards to track performance and identify trends.
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Relevant QA certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, or CSQA required.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Proficiency in test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes and tools.
