About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled QA Test Automation Specialist to join our dynamic technology team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions by designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify testing requirements, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with a passion for quality assurance and a strong background in test automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to ensure the quality and performance of software applications.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define test strategies.
- Execute automated test cases, analyze results, and report defects with detailed documentation.
- Identify, document, and track software defects to resolution.
- Continuously improve test automation frameworks and processes to enhance efficiency and coverage.
- Conduct performance and regression testing to ensure system stability and scalability.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, tools, and technologies in test automation.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5 - 10 years of experience in quality assurance and test automation.
- Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Knowledge of cloud-based testing environments and tools.
- Certification in software testing or quality assurance (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE).
