Job Overview

We are seeking a mid-level Income Tax Litigation and Transfer Pricing Manager to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have expertise in handling income tax litigation, transfer pricing, and related taxation matters. You will act as a strategic advisor and manage complex tax issues, ensuring compliance and litigation management.

Qualifications and Skills

- Expertise in transfer pricing, income tax litigation, and litigation management (Mandatory skill).
- Proficiency in tax compliance matters and managing related documentation and processes.
- Solid understanding of direct tax concepts and the ability to apply them to real-world scenarios.
- Experience in providing client advisory services with a focus on taxation and legal strategies.
- Ability to handle appeals and represent clients in various tax-related forums and proceedings.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex tax legislation and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with clients and tax authorities.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Manage and oversee income tax litigation processes, ensuring client interests are represented effectively.
- Develop and implement transfer pricing policies and manage related compliance activities.
- Advise clients on tax planning strategies and prepare comprehensive tax reports and advisory documents.
- Coordinate and liaise with tax authorities during audits and assessments, ensuring accurate representation of client cases.
- Identify tax savings and recommend strategies for efficient tax management for client portfolios.
- Provide expertise in handling tax appeals, representing clients at appellate forums if required.
- Stay updated with tax legislation changes and ensure clients are informed and compliant.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of tax-related projects and strategies.
