Title Section Manager HR Shared Services - US HR Operations Hire to Retire About GlobalFoundries GlobalFoundries is a leading full-service semiconductor foundry providing a unique combination of design development and fabrication services to some of the world s most inspired technology companies With a global manufacturing footprint spanning three continents GlobalFoundries makes possible the technologies and systems that transform industries and give customers the power to shape their markets For more information visit www gf com Introduction We are seeking an experienced and dynamic supervisor to oversee our HR Shared Services team specifically managing the US Hire to Retire process The ideal candidate will have 8-12 years of experience in HR operations with minimum 2-3 years as team lead supervisor managing 5 - 10-member team with a strong background in managing end-to-end HR processes This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills capable of driving efficiency and ensuring seamless employee experience Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise the HR Shared Services team responsible for the US Hire to Retire process Ensure the accurate and timely execution of HR processes including onboarding employee data management benefits administration Immigration performance management and offboarding Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery Monitor and analyze key performance indicators KPIs to ensure team performance meets or exceeds targets Provide coaching mentoring and professional development opportunities for team members Collaborate with HR Business Partners Talent Acquisition Payroll and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration of HR processes Perform transactions or a supported service area in a region developing solutions to manage the service processes aligned with established practices policies and or laws Handle escalations and complex HR issues providing resolution and support Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations Prepare and present regular reports on team performance and process metrics to senior management Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field Master s degree preferred 8-12 years of experience in HR operations with a focus on the Hire to Retire process Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within HR Shared Services Strong understanding of US labor laws and regulations Excellent communication interpersonal and leadership skills Ability to work in a hybrid environment with 3 days in the office Proficiency in HRIS systems and other HR-related software Preferably Workday ServiceNow ADP Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Ability to manage 5 - 10-member team Preferred Skills Leadership and team management Talent management and attrition control Change management Customer service orientation Project management Data analytics Operational execution Excellent verbal and written communication Experience with process improvement methodologies e g Lean Six Sigma Certification in HR e g SHRM-CP PHR GlobalFoundries is an equal opportunity employer cultivating a diverse and inclusive workforce We believe having a multicultural workplace enhances productivity efficiency and innovation whilst our employees feel truly respected valued and heard As an affirmative employer all qualified applicants are considered for employment regardless of age ethnicity marital status citizenship race religion political affiliation gender sexual orientation and medical and or physical abilities All offers of employment with GlobalFoundries are conditioned upon the successful completion of background checks medical screenings as applicable and subject to the respective local laws and regulations Information about our benefits you can find here
