Digantara is a leading Space Surveillance and Intelligence company focused on ensuring orbital safety and sustainability With expertise in space-based detection tracking identification and monitoring Digantara provides comprehensive domain awareness across regimes allowing end users to have actionable intelligence on a single platform At the core of its infrastructure lies a sophisticated integration of hardware and software capabilities aligned with the key principles of situational awareness perception data collection comprehension data processing and prediction analytics This holistic approach empowers Digantara to monitor all Resident Space Objects RSOs in orbit fostering comprehensive domain awareness We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Satellite Operator to join our dynamic team The role involves monitoring controlling and maintaining satellite systems to ensure their optimal performance and uninterrupted operations The Satellite Operator will work in a shift-based schedule to support the continuous operations of satellite systems Why Us Competitive incentives galvanising workspace blazing team frequent outings-pretty much everything that you have heard about a startup you get to work on satellites Hustle in a well-funded startup with a flat hierarchy that allows you to take charge of your responsibilities and create your own moonshot Responsibilities Satellite Operations Monitoring Operate and monitor satellite and ground control systems using advanced software tools Analyze telemetry data to ensure satellite health and detect anomalies Execute orbital maneuvers station-keeping and payload operations as required Prepare and deliver detailed reports on satellite status and operations Anomaly resolution Identify troubleshoot and respond to operational issues promptly Coordinate with engineering teams for the resolution of system anomalies Implement contingency plans during emergencies to minimize service disruptions Ground segment Collaborate with the ground software team to ensure proper functioning of the Mission Control software Contribute to the automation of nominal operations Work with the ground software team to streamline nominal operations scheduling of commands and health monitoring of the satellite s critical parameters Required Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Aerospace Engineering Electrical Engineering Computer Science Physics or a related field Basic understanding of satellite communications or space systems e g CCSDS ITU standards Programming or scripting knowledge for automation and data analysis Python MATLAB etc Familiarity with satellite simulation and control tools e g STK GMAT Familiarity with telemetry tracking and command TT C systems Proficiency in troubleshooting technical systems under pressure Ability to work effectively in a shift-based environment including nights and weekends General Requirements Ability to work in a mission-focused operational environment Ability to think critically and make independent decisions Interpersonal skills to enable working in a diverse and dynamic team Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule Writing and delivering technical documents and briefings Verbal and written communication skills as well as organizational skills Travel occasionally as necessary Job Location Hebbal Bengaluru
