Digantara is redefining space safety and sustainability As a leader in Space Surveillance and Intelligence we deliver real-time actionable insights to ensure secure and sustainable use of Earth s orbits Our cutting-edge platform integrates advanced space-based detection tracking and monitoring to provide unparalleled domain awareness across all orbital regimes At the cutting edge of this technology Digantara is building hardware and mission-critical software But behind every successful team is an invisible engine that keeps projects moving with clarity speed and precision Digantara is seeking a highly disciplined and technically proficient Operator to support real-time operations of our ground-based telescope infrastructure for Resident Space Object RSO detection The selected candidate will be responsible for executing observation schedules monitoring system health validating data integrity and coordinating with mission control and subsystem leads to ensure seamless Space Situational Awareness SSA operations This role is mission-critical and demands precision situational awareness and a strong understanding of operational workflows IT infrastructure remote operation systems hardware operations Why Us Be part of a collaborative and innovative environment where your ideas and skills make a real difference to the entire space realm Push the boundaries with hands-on experience greater responsibilities and rapid career advancement Competitive incentives galvanizing workspace blazing team-pretty much everything you have heard about a startup Ideal Candidate Experienced in handling time-sensitive operational systems Good at validating telemetry and data under real-time conditions Familiar with Space-domain associated operations troubleshooting and problem-solving Responsibilities Operate and monitor ground-based sensors and tracking systems Execute observation schedules and dynamically adjust based on orbital events or tasking updates Perform system health checks diagnostics and fault isolation procedures Debug and identify root causes of issues on remote systems across Windows and Linux environments Utilize command-line interfaces for system operations log retrieval and configuration tasks Validate incoming telemetry and sensor data for completeness accuracy and timestamp integrity Document operational logs anomalies and assist in establishing SoPs for observatory workflows Participate as a QA gatekeeper for in-house software releases ensuring stability and operational readiness Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Aerospace Engineering Mechanical Electronics Computer Science Physics or related technical field or Diploma in similar fields as above with relevant work experience 1 years of experience in time-sensitive operational systems like satellite ground operations radar systems or astronomical observatories Experience with ground station control software telemetry systems and RF signal chains Familiarity with Python for scripting automation and data validation tasks Preferred Qualities Exposure to CCSDS standards and telemetry packet structures Understanding of time synchronization protocols e g NTP GPS time Familiarity with basics of orbital mechanics TLEs and SSA data formats e g CDM RSO catalogs High attention to detail and operational discipline Strong situational awareness and ability to respond to dynamic mission conditions Proactive mindset with a bias toward documentation and process improvement Familiarity with cybersecurity protocols and data handling best practices General Requirements Ability to work in a mission-focused operational environment Ability to think critically and make independent decisions Interpersonal skills to enable working in a diverse and dynamic team Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule Writing and delivering technical documents and briefings Verbal and written communication skills as well as organizational skills Travel occasionally as necessary Job Location Hebbal Bengaluru
