**About the Role**:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented **Satellite Operator** to join our dynamic space operations team. In this mission-critical role, you’ll be responsible for operating and monitoring satellite systems to ensure optimal performance and continuous operation. This position is shift-based, supporting round-the-clock satellite functionality and health.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Satellite Operations & Monitoring**
- Operate and monitor satellite and ground systems using specialized software
- Analyze telemetry data to assess satellite health and detect anomalies
- Execute orbital maneuvers, station-keeping, and payload operations
- Prepare and present detailed satellite status reports

**Anomaly Resolution**
- Rapidly identify and troubleshoot technical issues
- Coordinate with engineering teams to resolve system anomalies
- Implement contingency procedures to minimize service disruption

**Ground Segment Collaboration**
- Work closely with ground software teams to support Mission Control systems
- Contribute to automating routine satellite operations
- Assist in optimizing command scheduling and health monitoring

**Qualification**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field
- Basic understanding of satellite communication protocols (CCSDS, ITU standards)
- Familiarity with TT&C systems, satellite simulation, and control tools (e.g., STK, GMAT)
- Programming or scripting skills (Python, MATLAB, etc.)
- Strong troubleshooting skills, especially under time pressure
- Willingness and ability to work in a 24/7 shift-based environment

**General Requirements**:

- Ability to think critically and make independent decisions
- Strong communication and technical documentation skills
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel occasionally if required
- Commitment to operational excellence and mission focus
