Role : Astronomy and Satellite Communication R&D + Space Tech Educator Internship Duration : 6 months + Opportunity to convert into full time job opportunity based on Internship Review Meeting Bangalore (Giftd Minds R&D and Learning Center, HSR Sec-1)As a Hands-on R&D Engineer (75%): Setting up both Observational and Radio Astronomy lab at Giftd Minds and conducting, documenting various experiments on an everyday basis. Building Home brew Antennas for HAM Radio and other HF/VHF/UHF frequency Radio communication and being an active member for Giftd Minds HAM Radio shack setup and Operations Setting up weather and other satellite communication related experiments and documenting observations, conducting research and building a knowledge base for the same. Responsible for Establishing Giftd Minds as an active private organisation in the field of Radio Astronomy, Observational Astronomy, Astrophotography and Radio & Satellite Communication Hands on knowledge in building Can-Sats / Cube-Sats will be a huge plus. As a STEM Educator (25%): Classroom curriculum development related to Science concepts, Astronomy, Radio and Satellite Communication as part of various courses Taking classroom sessions for Giftd Minds students for Science, Physics and Astrophysics/Astronomy related courses. Managing outdoor Field Trip related to relevant activities. Conducting various hands-on science experiments and testing concepts, building prototypes during weekdays Astronomy and Stargazing Instructor for Giftd Minds Stargazing Field Trips and responsible for handling and managing all the Astronomy related equipments Part of Outreach team to connect with various Space and Defence related organizations to strengthen Giftd Minds business partnerships portfolio Giftd Minds is an R&D Product development and Ed Tech start-up recognised by NASSCOM Center of Excellence. Giftd Minds Research & Learning Center is a state of the art, Product Design & Alternate education, learning and experimentation space. We work on our own Tech products as well as provide mentorship, tools, training, safe testing environments and an opportunity for young adults to get into the field of cutting edge science and technology research.
