We are now looking for a professional who is able to take the position of HREX IS Technology SME for Learning and Talent within the HREX Organization. Your role will be to support daily operations for Core HRIS applications purchased on demand, developed for ABB reasons or purchased via a subscription for the Learning and Talent process areas. Besides this, you will also support with SIT with oversight from the Release/Test Manager and ensure applications operate as intended post software changes. You will be mainly accountable for: . Supports daily operations of the tool and collaborates with Tier 1/2 roles in the support organization. . Prepares and maintains internal documentation for the tool and ensures required procedures are followed. . Supports with Mass Data, installation, management, maintenance, and optimization of Learning and Talent and cross-functional processes related to IS Services. . Takes action to ensure targets are met within established safety and quality procedures, corrects malfunctions, calling on other experienced colleagues and external resources to make sure services are delivered in a proactive way. . On assignment and request - identifies, proposes, advises and implements existing IS technology and IS solutions/services, sharing knowledge and guiding others on implementation and operation, using understanding of existing technology and business requirements. . Reviews system software updates and identifies those that merit action within Learning and Talent. Installs and tests new versions of the system software, investigates and coordinates the resolution of potential and actual service problems. . Gives advice and supports the installation of IS services, or the changing of existing IS services. When involved, delivers the appropriate IS solution/service according to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs), in time, in budget and at quality. . Monitors and reports on supplier performance and customer satisfaction. Validates that suppliers performance is in accordance with contract terms. . On assignment and request identifies, proposes, advises and implements IS services, sharing knowledge using understanding of existing technology and business requirements. . Keeps knowledge up to date regarding new and emerging IS technology and industry practices, bringing learning into ABB all within Learning and Talent. . Is responsible to act in compliance with Corporate IS Regulation and IS Policies with ABB Regulations and ABB Guidelines of which accountability and responsibility for this position are derived and with any other Internal Control regulations that may be assigned. Locations are flexible for IS and HR roles. For IS roles, India and Mexico are the two preferred locations, while HR role holders will be expected to collaborate with teams in European and US EST time zones. Ultimately, we'll hire the most qualified candidate for each role. Qualifications for the role - Min 3 years of experience in IS environment. - Experience in mass data upload, database design & administration, data modeling & strong SQL knowledge. - Knowledge in software design, development, configuration, and real-time/embedded systems. - Familiarity with preparation of test cases, application testing, penetration testing, and quality assurance. - Background in business process modeling, requirements management, project support, and continuity management. - Competence in IT infrastructure, application support, problem/incident management, and network support. - Previous experience in security administration, release & deployment, system software, and asset management. - Competences in research, knowledge management, reporting, and holistic learning & talent application knowledge.
