Project Services – Implementation Consultant ADP Lyric HCM Job Description Position Title: Senior Member Technical – G2L2 Mandatory Skillset Payroll Experience (US Payroll) Position Purpose: Support the business org to achieve all departmental KPIs through the successful provision of Consulting and Project services to ADP Clients in line with agreed standards and timeframes. Key Responsibilities: - Define client requirements, provide gap analysis, document, help coordinate build and configure the outcome of these efforts. - Partner with internal and external client stakeholders to develop an executable plan that accounts for both functional and technical work streams of the project. - Provide best practice solutions based on customer defined business needs and business rules. - Successfully implement custom solutions and associated services within required timeframes. - Communicate with client throughout Implementation lifecycle – including face to face, written and verbal communication. - Anticipate, identify, and analyze risks, problems and opportunities – establishing priorities and efficiently allocating and utilizing resources for resolutions. - Apply project methodology – planning, follow up, reporting and quality assurance. - Review and measure progress against specified criteria and deliverables, developing and implementing suitable corrective action as required. - Successfully communicate at all levels of seniority in all mediums and display personal integrity and professionalism in all dealings with colleagues and clients. - Keep up to date with technology and legislative developments as they relate to the product. - Demonstrate high level of customer service across all internal and external stakeholders, in a fast paced and high-pressured environment. - Development and maintenance of good working relationships with other Associates in accordance with ADP values. - Ensure cooperation and sharing of skills and expertise. - Ensuring all relevant issues and activities are entered into management systems. - Achievement of team and individual KPIs. - Responsible for driving own personal development plan. - Anticipate and document risks, actioning accordingly and escalating to management where required. - Conduct post-production reviews, share learnings and ensure as part of continuous improvement requirements. - Act as subject matter expert on following topics within the HCM space; like Human Resources, Time, Payroll, Tax & Banking, Talent, Absence Management. Human Resources - Supports core HR configuration and functionality during implementation. - Supports HR related data mapping, conversion and validation. - Conducts detailed design session with client and develops the design document/business requirements document. - Performs unit testing for configuration and any custom client functionality. - Partners with client during testing on defect resolution during test cycles. - Provides status updates to project manager. - Partners with Client Success to transition to service. Payroll - Supports payroll configuration and functionality up during implementation. - Supports PR related data mapping, conversion and validation. - Conducts detailed design session with client and develops the design document/business requirements document. - Prepares functional specifications for any customized development required for the client. - Performs unit testing for configuration and any custom client functionality. - Partners with client during testing on defect resolution during test cycles. - Provides status updates to project manager. - Partners with Client Success to transition to service. Time - Supports time system configuration and functionality during implementation. - Supports Time related data mapping, conversion and validation. - Conducts detailed design session with client and develops the design document/business requirements document. - Prepares functional specifications for any customized development required for the client. - Performs unit testing for configuration and any custom client functionality. - Partners with client during testing on defect resolution during test cycles. - Provides status updates to project manager. - Partners with Client Success to transition to service. Tax & Banking - Setup and support Tax and Money Movement during Implementation. - Project Management of client deployments while engaging with key stakeholders to ensure client expectations are met for Tax, Banking, and Full Level Tax. - Conducts detailed design session to determine requirements and client expectations. - Prepares legal documentation for client review and signature. - Provides client level support and expertise on Tax and Banking questions. - Partners with project team and client to ensure accurate, timely setup completion, providing updates to the project manager. - Ensures timely reconciliation of quarterly and annual taxes, for Full Level Tax requirements. - Partners with Client Success to support client needs. - Helps to build and improve the implementation, training methodologies and tools needed for future implementations. Talent (Compensation Planning Goals & Performance) - Supports core Compensation Management configuration and functionality during implementation. - Conducts detailed design session with client and develops the design document/business requirements document. - Performs unit testing for configuration. - Partners with client during testing on defect resolution during test cycles. - Trains the client on system functionality and administration. - Provides status updates to project managers. - Prepares Talent Client Success team members to support client once transitioned out of implementation. Absence Management - Responsible for accurate and complete analysis and documentation of client business rules and requirements via the Implementation Design Document. - Owns the design and accurate execution/resolution of project test plans. - Supports the client and Service/Operations for a one month burn-in period post go-live, to ensure the project can be transitioned on time and with quality. Desired Skills: - Implement Interfaces as a liaison between ADP and Client/Vendor system. - Understand the 5 Project Management process groups of "Initiating", "Planning", "Executing", "Monitoring & Controlling" and "Closing." - Experience in writing SQL queries with various types of joins for data validation - Good experience with MS Excel (V-Lookup, H-Lookup, Pivot) - Writing FRD, BRD, SRS, etc. - Writing Test cases and Creating Test Matrix, Understanding of RTM - Should be able to handle stakeholders (Internal and External) communication in a very clear and precise manner. - Should be able to create contingency plan. - Should have good knowledge and understanding about SFTP/FTP/MFT - Should be able to jump any quick calls and provide solutions. - Should have worked in handling data, preparing reports using excel or any other data tool. - Should be able to train and mentor at least 2 associates on HCM Domain and Process knowledge. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent team player and interpersonal skills - Excellent communication and presentation skills - Ability to coordinate with others team members to accomplish objectives. - Ability to prioritize the job and meet the deadlines/SLAs. - Ability to meet deadlines and attention to detail. - MS Office tools. - Should be able to create RCA. - Should be able to work independently as Project Manager Desired Experience: - Strong stakeholder management and customer service / client facing consulting experience within an Implementation / Service Delivery environment. - Demonstrated experience within an Implementation environment, with an excellent understanding of payroll, payroll applications including Time & Attendance and processing. - Experience with project management methodology, with demonstrated success in previous roles. - Demonstrated understanding of ADP management systems or corporate enterprise reporting systems, e.g. CRM. - Experienced with the 'build and configuration' of products/systems. - Strong ability to identify client risks and provide options for resolution. - Proven experience in data mapping, data conversion and data integrity. - Advance understanding of interface technologies and data exchange between payroll and third-party systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle etc.). - Experience in Microsoft applications such as MS Project, Word and Excel. - Experience working within a matrix organization for a US owned organization preferred. - Demonstrated experience working on multiple projects, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work, in accordance with tight deadlines and pressure. Eligibility Criteria: - Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering/technology, MCA, M.Sc. Computer Science or equivalent - Experience: Minimum 4 to 6 years of experience. - Strong knowledge on HCM product (HR, Payroll) functionality - [e.g. ADP, Workday, SAP/SF, Oracle, HRIS system etc.] - Project Management certification ideal - Analytical and Agile mindset
