Job Description Job Role : US Tax Payroll Experience : 1.01+ years Job Location : Hyderabad Mode of Work : Full Time Eligibility Criteria : CPA Pursuing, Qualified EA, EA Pursuing, Semi Qualified CA Responsibilities Description : - Process and manage US tax payroll for clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines. - Assist in preparing and filing various tax forms and returns, including but not limited to Form 941, Form 940, W-2, W-3, and state-specific payroll tax returns. - Handle inquiries and correspondence related to payroll and tax matters from clients and regulatory authorities. - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll data and related accounting entries. - Perform regular reconciliations and audits of payroll accounts to identify discrepancies and ensure data integrity. - Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and other accounting documents as required. - Stay updated on changes in tax laws, regulations, and industry trends relevant to US payroll and accounting practices. - Provide support to senior team members and management on ad hoc projects and tasks as needed. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Semi-qualified CPA/EA certification preferred. - Minimum of 4 months to 1 year of relevant experience in US tax payroll processing and accounting. - Proficiency in using payroll software and accounting software, with experience in platforms such as QuickBooks, ADP, or similar tools preferred. - Strong understanding of US payroll tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements. - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis. - Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines effectively.
