Role Description This is a full-time on-site position based in Mumbai for a Chef at HomeGrown Gourmet. The Chef will be responsible for creating custom menus tailored to clients' dietary needs and wellness goals, preparing and presenting luxury health-focused meals, and incorporating global cuisine inspiration with seasonal ingredients. Other key responsibilities include maintaining food quality and presentation standards, managing kitchen operations, and collaborating with the in-house nutritionist to ensure dietary alignment. Customer interaction to understand preferences and ensure a premium service experience will also be part of the role. Qualifications Proficiency in advanced culinary techniques, meal preparation, and use of premium, seasonal, and specialized ingredients Experience in creating personalized menus for dietary restrictions, such as keto, gluten-free, vegan, or high-protein diets Strong understanding of food presentation, flavor profiling, and global cuisines to ensure aesthetic appeal and taste Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interactions and understanding preferences Experience managing kitchen operations, including inventory management, food safety, and preparation efficiency Culinary certification or training from a recognized institution; prior experience in fine dining or luxury catering is a plus Ability to work professionally under pressure and maintain exceptional service standards
