Job Description Description We are seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Manager for our Life Insurance division focusing on the direct channel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, building client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities within the life insurance market. Responsibilities - Develop and implement effective business development strategies to drive sales in the direct channel for life insurance products. - Identify and establish relationships with potential clients and partners to expand the customer base. - Conduct market research to understand customer needs and identify new business opportunities. - Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create promotional materials and campaigns. - Analyze sales data to track performance and adjust strategies as needed. - Provide training and support to junior team members in direct sales techniques and product knowledge. - Prepare and present reports on business development activities and outcomes to senior management. Skills and Qualifications - 2-7 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the life insurance sector. - Strong understanding of life insurance products and the direct sales process. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and stakeholders. - Proficiency in data analysis and reporting to track sales performance and market trends. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. - Strong negotiation and closing skills to secure new business deals. - Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools.
