Position - National Manager – Public Business Solutions (PBS)

This position will be based in Mumbai & will be reporting to Head - Portfolio Solutions
Gaining a fair share in the public business is one of the key growth levers for Roche Diagnostics India. A new team, led by a National Manager - Public Business Solutions (PBS), is being created in the Sales organization that will work, in close collaboration with Sales pan India & will sharpen our focus to increase share in the public business. This will involve the streamlining and scale-up of our existing systems and processes around public sector projects.
Your Opportunity
- To Review and interpret market information to streamline Tender management - pre, post and on-going tenders which includes but is not limited to tender shaping, tender participation and contract making.
- Designing public business account plans that fulfill company's objectives, maximize revenue, improve margins and market share; collate market intelligence on product performance and market presence to realign tactics / strategies to counter competition
- You will build the current & 3 to 5 years strategy for designated public sector hospitals to increase the share of business.
- Drive profitable growth by engaging various levers such as new solutions across all business areas, and high medical value solutions
- You will identify & develop right distribution partners for tender accounts & lead the collaboration with assigned Liasoner/Distributor or PPP partner for tender/RFP/ agreement shaping & also with Sales team and MSA in leveraging KOLs and advocates for suitable recommendation and clinical evidence submissions.
- Design and implement the tender calendar and win/loss management, price comparatives etc.
- Complete tender management including financials EMD/SD/BG etc., product and firm registration, GEM quotations & responsible for documentation readiness, error free participation in tenders
- Responsible for attending pre-bids for technical and commercial query handling with the Sales team
- Build an engaged and high performing team to achieve objectives related to revenue, profitability, and be accountable for driving collaborative behaviors
- Responsible for reviewing and interpreting market information to fine-tune partnership alliances with clients, generating business from new accounts and developing them to achieve consistent profitability
Who You are
Experience of atleast 10 years in IVD/Medical Devices with People Management experience who understands tender management & its process. You will be an agile leader who collobarates efficiently with senior leadership team & other relevent colleagues
You Have
Master's degree in Business or Science, MBA is an advantage
