The Lead – Compensation & Benefits will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing compensation and benefits strategies that align with business objectives, attract and retain top talent, and ensure internal equity and external competitiveness. This role will also oversee performance-linked pay, incentive programs, benefits administration, and compliance with regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Design, review, and implement compensation frameworks, salary structures, and incentive programs in line with business strategy.
Partner with business leaders and HRBPs to ensure fair and consistent compensation practices.
Lead annual compensation benchmarking, budgeting, and appraisal processes.
Oversee employee benefits programs (insurance, retirement, wellness, etc.) ensuring cost-effectiveness and employee satisfaction.
Develop and manage recognition and reward initiatives to drive performance and engagement.
Monitor industry trends and conduct market analysis to maintain competitive positioning.
Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
Collaborate with Finance and HR Operations teams to ensure accurate payroll integration and reporting.
Leverage HR analytics and dashboards to provide insights on compensation effectiveness and workforce costs.
Manage vendor relationships for benefits programs and negotiate contracts to optimize value.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong expertise in compensation strategy, job evaluation, and benefits design.
Analytical mindset with proficiency in HR analytics, compensation benchmarking, and modeling.
Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Excellent knowledge of labor laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
High attention to detail, with strong numerical and problem-solving skills.
