Adani Solar:Adani Solar is India's 1st and largest vertically integrated solar PV manufacturer with 4 GW cells & modules and 2 GW of ingots & wafers manufacturing capacities Job Purpose:The job purpose of a Shift Engineer - Cluster - PECVD in cell process is to oversee and optimize the Plasma-Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition (PECVD) process for depositing thin films onto silicon wafers used in solar cell manufacturing. This role involves ensuring precise control over deposition parameters, maintaining high-quality Plasma film production, troubleshooting technical issues, work on completion of already defined DOEs on RI & thickness, BOM and report compilation and adhering to safety and regulatory standards, all aimed at maximizing the efficiency and reliability of solar cell production. Responsibilities Safety and Compliance : - Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards, conducting regular audits and training to maintain a safe work environment. Proactively identify risks and implement corrective actions to ensure full compliance with safety regulations. PECVD Process Oversight - Manage and supervise the deposition of thin films onto silicon wafers using PECVD technology, ensuring precise control and adherence to production schedules. Process Optimization - Optimize PECVD parameters (gas flow rates, temperature, pressure) to achieve uniform and high-quality thin films, improving solar cell efficiency. Equipment Management - Supervise PECVD equipment operation, calibration, and maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize reliability. Process Control - Conduct inspections to verify thin film thickness, uniformity, and adherence, maintaining high standards of quality and reliability. Troubleshooting And Problem Solving - Identify and resolve technical issues affecting PECVD processes or equipment performance promptly. Documentation And Reporting - Maintain accurate records of process parameters, production data, and equipment maintenance activities, supporting continuous improvement efforts. Key Stakeholders - Internal - Cluster Manager - Cell Process - Technicians and Operators within Cell Process - Quality Control Inspectors Key Stakeholders - External - Equipment Suppliers - Maintenance Contractors - Regulatory Authorities Qualifications Educational Qualification: - B.Tech Electronics/Chemical / Metallurgy/ Renewable Energy - Desired Qualification : BE/BTech Work Experience (Range Of Years) - Min 2 - 5 years of experience in PECVD (Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition) process activities , with a focus on film uniformity, Process SPCs, and yield optimization.
