Job Category Engineering About Business Adani Group Adani Group is a diversified organisation in India comprising 10 publicly traded companies It has created a world class logistics and utility infrastructure portfolio that has a pan-India presence Adani Group is headquartered in Ahmedabad in the state of Gujarat India Over the years Adani Group has positioned itself to be the market leader in its logistics and energy businesses focusing on large scale infrastructure development in India with O M practices benchmarked to global standards With four IG rated businesses it is the only Infrastructure Investment Grade issuer in India Adani Solar Adani Solar is India s 1st and largest vertically integrated solar PV manufacturer with 4 GW cells modules and 2 GW of ingots wafers manufacturing capacities Job Purpose The job purpose of a Shift Engineer - Cluster - PECVD in cell process is to oversee and optimize the Plasma-Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition PECVD process for depositing thin films onto silicon wafers used in solar cell manufacturing This role involves ensuring precise control over deposition parameters maintaining high-quality Plasma film production troubleshooting technical issues work on completion of already defined DOEs on RI thickness BOM and report compilation and adhering to safety and regulatory standards all aimed at maximizing the efficiency and reliability of solar cell production Responsibilities Safety and Compliance Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards conducting regular audits and training to maintain a safe work environment Proactively identify risks and implement corrective actions to ensure full compliance with safety regulations PECVD Process Oversight Manage and supervise the deposition of thin films onto silicon wafers using PECVD technology ensuring precise control and adherence to production schedules Process Optimization Optimize PECVD parameters gas flow rates temperature pressure to achieve uniform and high-quality thin films improving solar cell efficiency Equipment Management Supervise PECVD equipment operation calibration and maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize reliability Process Control Conduct inspections to verify thin film thickness uniformity and adherence maintaining high standards of quality and reliability Troubleshooting and Problem Solving Identify and resolve technical issues affecting PECVD processes or equipment performance promptly Documentation and Reporting Maintain accurate records of process parameters production data and equipment maintenance activities supporting continuous improvement efforts Key Stakeholders - Internal Cluster Manager - Cell Process Technicians and Operators within Cell Process Quality Control Inspectors Key Stakeholders - External Equipment Suppliers Maintenance Contractors Regulatory Authorities Qualifications Educational Qualification B Tech - Electronics Chemical Metallurgy Renewable Energy Desired Qualification BE BTech Work Experience Range of years Min 2 - 5 years of experience in PECVD Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition process activities with a focus on film uniformity Process SPCs and yield optimization Certification
