Associate Director, It Project Management

About the Role Grade Level for internal use 12 The Lead II IT Project Management role is an essential project and people leader in delivering projects on time within budget aligned with strategic goals providing career development implementing training and development initiatives to upskill employees develop strategies to attract and retain top talent and using data-driven approaches to identify recruitment needs Oversee project management activities within the ES Technology and support business segments ensuring that projects are delivered on time within scope and within budget Key Responsibilities Lead and manage multiple IT projects from initiation through completion Develop project plans including scope timelines resources and budget Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure effective project execution Communicate project status risks and issues to stakeholders and management Implement project management best practices and methodologies Monitor project performance and implement changes as necessary to ensure project goals are met Conduct regular project reviews and post-implementation evaluations Mentor and develop project management team members Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement Qualifications Bachelor s degree in information technology Project Management or a related field Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management within IT Proven experience in managing large-scale IT projects Strong understanding of project management methodologies e g Agile Waterfall Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines Proficiency in project management tools e g MS Project JIRA Trello Smartsheets Relevant project management certification e g PMP PRINCE2 is highly desirable Project Management Competencies Strong background in Agile Scrum and or Waterfall methodologies Hands-on experience with PM tools Jira MS Project Smartsheets etc Ability to manage complex cross-functional projects Budget and timeline management expertise Soft Skills Proactive communicator with stakeholder management skills Detail-oriented organized and results-driven Comfortable operating in fast-paced environments Future-Ready Skills Workflow automation tools Strong understanding of AI tools Data dashboarding Power BI
