Job Category KMBL Degree Level Bachelor s Degree As a Disbursement Coordinator you will play a crucial role in facilitating the smooth disbursement of funds to our small business clients Your primary focus will be on ensuring timely and accurate disbursements maintaining strong relationships with internal teams and providing exceptional support to our sales force This role is integral to the success of our Small Business Enterprise-Sales department as it directly impacts our ability to serve our clients effectively Responsibilities Process and approve disbursement requests from small business clients ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulations Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs and provide timely disbursements maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction Review and analyze disbursement documents verifying accuracy and completeness before processing Maintain accurate records of disbursements ensuring proper documentation and audit trails Monitor and manage disbursement timelines ensuring prompt and efficient processing of funds Communicate regularly with internal teams such as operations and compliance to resolve any disbursement-related issues or queries Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in disbursement processes implementing improvements as needed Provide training and support to junior team members ensuring a high standard of work quality Assist in the development and implementation of disbursement-related policies and procedures contributing to process optimization Perform ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned by the department head or senior management Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Finance Business Administration or a related field Minimum 2 years of experience in a disbursement or related role preferably in a banking or financial institution Strong knowledge of banking operations including disbursement processes and regulations Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills identifying and resolving issues promptly Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes Flexibility to work extended hours during peak periods or as required
