Job Category Engineering About Business Adani Group Adani Group is a diversified organisation in India comprising 10 publicly traded companies It has created a world-class logistics and utility infrastructure portfolio that has a pan-India presence Adani Group is headquartered in Ahmedabad in the state of Gujarat India Over the years Adani Group has positioned itself to be the market leader in its logistics and energy businesses focusing on large-scale infrastructure development in India with O M practices benchmarked to global standards With four IG-rated businesses it is the only Infrastructure Investment Grade issuer in India Job Purpose As the Washery O M Engineers in a coal mine washery the incumbent oversees all mechanical operations to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency of equipment essential for coal processing Their role involves leading maintenance activities implementing preventive measures and resolving mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime and maximize productivity Additionally they collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain safety standards and drive continuous improvement initiatives in mechanical processes Responsibilities Washery O M Engineers - Coal Mining Maintenance Management Supervise and coordinate all maintenance activities across the plant ensuring optimal performance and reliability Develop and implement maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and maximize equipment uptime Review maintenance schedules and prioritize tasks to meet production requirements efficiently Monitor maintenance costs and budgetary allocations identifying opportunities for cost optimization Mechanical Maintenance Oversee mechanical maintenance operations including preventive and corrective maintenance activities Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements in all mechanical maintenance tasks Coordinate with the mechanical maintenance team to troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and implement effective solutions Review equipment performance and reliability metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimization Electrical Maintenance Manage electrical maintenance activities including the inspection repair and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment Implement preventive maintenance programs for electrical systems to minimize unplanned downtime Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations in all maintenance tasks Collaborate with the electrical maintenance team to resolve electrical faults and ensure continuous operations C I Control Instrumentation Maintenance Supervise C I maintenance activities including the calibration testing and maintenance of control systems and instruments Develop and implement calibration schedules to ensure the accuracy and reliability of instrumentation Enforce adherence to regulatory requirements and standards in C I maintenance tasks Provide technical guidance and support to the C I maintenance team for troubleshooting and resolving instrumentation issues Stakeholder Management Lead mentor and motivate the maintenance team to achieve departmental goals and objectives Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to support their professional development Identify training needs and opportunities for skills enhancement within the maintenance team Foster a culture of collaboration accountability and continuous improvement among maintenance personnel Prepare and present maintenance reports including equipment performance maintenance activities and budget utilization to senior management Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders including production engineering and quality control departments to ensure alignment of maintenance activities with overall plant objectives Collaborate with external vendors and service providers for procurement of spare parts equipment maintenance services and technical support Authorize vendor invoices and ensure timely payment for services rendered Key Stakeholders - Internal Cluster Head HODs Engineering Safety Projects Key Stakeholders - External Vendors Statutory Authorities Qualifications Educational Qualification B Tech B E-Electrical Mechanical Work Experience Range of years Work Experience Range of Years 10 to 15 years
