We re a global multi-disciplinary team that s putting the innovative power of technology to work and transforming tomorrow As a member of HARMAN Lifestyle you connect consumers with the power of superior sound Contribute your talents to high-end esteemed brands like JBL Mark Levinson and Revel Unite your passion for audio innovation with high-tech product development Create pitch-perfect cutting-edge technology that elevates the listening experience About the Role The Specialist Technical Sales will provide application support for all three business units-Corporate AV Government and Hospitality to our channel partners consultants and prospective users within the AV integration community Duties will include front-end phone support online remote support system design and calibration software hardware troubleshooting and trade show as well as internal product support This position requires broad and comprehensive experience skills and knowledge of the organization s products policies and practices The candidate must be able to work professionally with employees at all levels and interact effectively with external professionals distributors and dealers What You Will Do Provide system design support and conduct reviews for integrators consultants and representatives Offer frontline phone-based application support to integrators consultants and end-users Perform system programming tuning and calibration as required by customers Deliver technical training sessions to integrators consultants and end-users Assist with technical setups for trade shows and corporate events Collect and report application data use cases and customer requirements to support product development initiatives Keep relevant departments Engineering Marketing Product Development Technical Services and Quality Assurance updated on product issues opportunities software bugs and emerging customer needs Carry out other duties as assigned What You Need to Be Successful Over 6 years of proven experience in audio engineering sound design or related fields Strong expertise in audio signal processing acoustics and psychoacoustics Proficient with audio software and hardware including digital audio workstations DAWs and audio interfaces Hands-on experience in audio system design installation and live sound recording or broadcast applications Solid understanding of industry-standard audio protocols and formats e g Dante AES67 Familiar with acoustic simulation tools such as EASE and Sound PLAN Skilled at multitasking meeting deadlines and applying effective problem-solving and analytical abilities Excellent communication presentation and collaboration skills with demonstrated leadership and sound decision-making Bonus Points if You Have Bachelor s degree in Audio Engineering Electrical Engineering or a related discipline IT networking certifications such as CCNA or CCDA AV industry certifications such as CTS CTS-I or CTS-D Proficiency with acoustic simulation software including AutoCAD EASE EASE Address and Ease Focus What Makes You Eligible Willingness to travel up to 60 domestic and or international Work Location Delhi Mumbai Bangalore What We Offer Flexible work environment allowing for full-time remote work globally for positions that can be performed outside a HARMAN or customer location Access to employee discounts on world-class Harman and Samsung products JBL HARMAN Kardon AKG etc Extensive training opportunities through our own HARMAN University Competitive wellness benefits Tuition reimbursement Be Brilliant employee recognition and rewards program An inclusive and diverse work environment that fosters and encourages professional and personal development LI-JS248 You Belong Here HARMAN is committed to making every employee feel welcomed valued and empowered No matter what role you play we encourage you to share your ideas voice your distinct perspective and bring your whole self with you -
