Job Description Position Summary The Head of Events is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing all major events, conferences, prayer festivals, partner meetings, and special programs across the organization. This role leads the entire events division, ensuring excellence in event delivery, smooth coordination, creative presentation, resource management, and impactful participant experiences. The position plays a key role in strengthening brand presence and enhancing ministry outreach through high-quality event execution. Key Responsibilities1. Event Strategy & Planning - Develop the annual event roadmap aligned with the organization's goals and ministry vision. - Conceptualize event themes, formats, schedules, and engagement strategies. - Conduct venue feasibility studies and finalize locations based on audience size and requirements. 2. Event Execution & Management - Lead the end-to-end execution of large-scale events, including: - Prayer Festivals - Conferences - Partner Meetings - Youth & Kids Events - Telecast Events - Special Ministry Programs - Oversee stage setup, audio/video, lighting, logistics, crowd flow, and event-day operations. - Ensure event timelines, production quality, and program flow are adhered to. 3. Budgeting & Resource Allocation - Prepare event budgets and manage cost controls. - Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, materials, equipment, and vendors. - Ensure accountability in spending and approvals. 4. Vendor & Stakeholder Management - Coordinate with vendors for staging, AV, branding, printing, photography, videography, and logistics. - Negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with delivery timelines. - Manage coordination with Prayer Towers, Media, Administration, Partner Services, and Security teams. 5. Team Leadership - Lead and mentor the Events team including event managers, coordinators, volunteers, and ground staff. - Conduct pre-event briefings, task assignment, and team planning sessions. - Build a strong culture of collaboration, creativity, and excellence. 6. Operations, Logistics & Compliance - Oversee permissions, government approvals, crowd management, and safety protocols. - Ensure all events follow SOPs and organizational policies. - Mitigate risks and manage emergency response planning. 7. Creative Direction & Presentation - Work closely with Media and Branding teams for event visuals, branding materials, stage design, and promotional content. - Ensure the event atmosphere aligns with ministry values and enhances participant experiences. 8. Partner & Guest Experience - Oversee VIP guest coordination, partner seating arrangements, hospitality, and follow-up communication. - Ensure seamless registration, entry, and customer service processes. 9. Reporting & Post-Event Analysis - Submit event reports including attendance, budget utilization, impact metrics, and feedback. - Conduct post-event evaluation to identify improvement areas and success highlights.
