Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and visionary Head of Events to lead the planning, execution, and scaling of high-impact events that align with our mission. This role will be responsible for conceptualizing and delivering both virtual and physical eventsincluding workshops, summits, hackathons, and community meetups—that engage our diverse audience and strengthen our brand presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning

  • Design and implement an annual events calendar aligned with Impacteers' strategic goals.

  • Develop event formats that support career enablement, sustainability, and entrepreneurship.

  • Event Execution

  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of events—venue selection, vendor coordination, logistics, budgeting, and staffing.

  • Ensure seamless delivery of both in-person and virtual events using tools like Zoom, Hopin, or Airmeet.

  • Community Engagement

  • Build and nurture relationships with universities, corporates, NGOs, and ecosystem partners.

  • Drive participation and engagement through creative campaigns and community outreach.

  • Team Leadership

  • Manage a team of event coordinators, interns, and volunteers.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, partnerships, and product teams.

  • Performance & Reporting

  • Track KPIs such as attendance, engagement, feedback, and ROI.

  • Prepare post-event reports and continuously improve event strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in event planning and execution, preferably in EdTech, social impact, or startup ecosystems.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale events and community programs.
  • Strong organizational, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with sustainability, social entrepreneurship, or career development domains.
  • Experience with hybrid event platforms and digital engagement tools.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for building communities and experiences.
