Documentation and Record Keeping: - Maintain accurate and organized records related to GST transactions. - Verify the accuracy of invoices and supporting documents for GST compliance. Research and Analysis: - Stay informed about updates in GST laws and regulations. - Conduct research on specific GST issues and provide actionable recommendations. Communication: - Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure proper understanding and compliance with GST requirements. - Respond to inquiries from tax authorities regarding GST matters. Audit Support: - Assist in preparing for GST audits by providing necessary documentation and information. - Support audit processes to ensure timely and accurate responses. Training: - Conduct internal training sessions to enhance awareness and understanding of GST compliance requirements. Advisory Support: - Support the team in assessing the GST impact on various business transactions. - Provide inputs on GST implications for new business initiatives or process changes. System and Process Improvement: - Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure systems accurately capture and report GST-related data. - Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in GST compliance operations.
