Product Manager – Product Operations

Location: Hybrid (Navi Mumbai/Gurgaon). The candidate would be required to come to the office 3 or 4 times/Week. The candidate can work from our office in Navi Mumbai or Gurugram.

About the Role

Fitterfly is developing innovative products in the digital health domain. We are looking for a Product Manager – Product Operations & Engagement who will drive user engagement, retention, and communication strategies across our products. This role requires expertise in horizontal analytics, user engagement platforms (MoEngage, CleverTap, WebEngage, etc.), and experimentation frameworks. The ideal candidate will combine data-driven decision-making with creativity to design and execute campaigns that improve user journeys and product adoption.

Key Responsibilities

- Engagement & Communication Strategy: Own and manage engagement initiatives across channels (push notifications, in-app messages, emails, WhatsApp, SMS, etc.) using platforms like MoEngage/CleverTap.
- Analytics & Reporting: Define, track, and analyze key metrics (DAU/MAU, churn, conversion funnels, cohort retention, etc.) and create dashboards for business and product teams.
- Experimentation: Design, run, and analyze A/B tests and multivariate experiments to continuously improve engagement, conversions, and retention.
- Lifecycle Campaigns: Build, automate, and optimize lifecycle communication journeys for onboarding, activation, upsell, cross-sell, and win-back campaigns.
- Product Operations: Collaborate with engineering, design, and marketing teams to ensure engagement features and communication flows are well integrated into the product.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Work closely with product managers, growth teams, and leadership to align engagement strategies with overall business and product goals.
- Continuous Optimization: Leverage user behavior insights to propose new strategies, experiments, and campaigns that maximize engagement and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

- 2–5 years of experience in product operations, growth, or engagement management roles.
- Strong proficiency with engagement and communication platforms (MoEngage, CleverTap, WebEngage, Braze, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with user segmentation, funnels, cohorts, and retention analysis.
- Ability to create and interpret dashboards (Mixpanel, Amplitude, PowerBI, Tableau, etc.).
- Strong understanding of A/B testing frameworks and experimentation methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across functions.
- Analytical and data-driven mindset with a track record of improving product engagement.
- Proficiency in using modern AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) to enhance personal productivity in research, analysis, and documentation.
- Demonstrable experience in defining, launching, and iterating on products with significant AI/ML components (e.g., personalization, recommendation systems, NLP, predictive analytics).

Nice-to-Have

- Experience in SaaS, health-tech, or consumer-tech products.
- Familiarity with SQL, Google Analytics, and Firebase.
- Exposure to gamification, behavioral design, or personalization strategies.
