a brighter work day here About the Team The Business Technology Go-To-Market team works in close partnership with our business partners to help fuel growth and revenue goals for Workday along with driving outstanding Customer Partner and Employee experiences The team is responsible for developing and supporting innovative architecture-led solutions for our Marketing Sales Services Customer Support Legal business functions across our technology stack including Adobe Experience Manager Cloud Salesforce SnapLogic Conga Apttus AWS Coveo Search Platform OKTA and others Are you ready to take Senior Manager GTM Close development team will be based out of Workdays Pune location and will be responsible for Development team delivery This hands-on technical leadership role demands excellent knowledge to lead a team of software developers technical project manager scrum master and other growing team roles In this role you will be responsible for managing a team that is focused on delivering world-class applications built on Salesforce platform and its eco-system The position requires direct hands-on experience leading full lifecycle application development strong technical acumen performance optimization critical incident resolution and environment release management functions It is also critical candidate has adept staff and vendor management skills MSP Management background a plus a deep commitment to end-user satisfaction disciplined follow-up outstanding communication skills with all levels of management and strong understanding of ITIL The role also involves building relationships with key Delivery Leads and all IT staff to ensure that IT-delivered services and end-user productivity goals are understood and exceeded People Leadership Develop staff capability and fostering a collaborative culture of continuous improvementBuild effective teams with a culture of curiosity collaboration customer empathy and focus on resultsCoach mentor and responsibilities include but are not limited to Leading the design and development of solutions on the Apttus CPQ and Salesforce com platform Build out the Apttus CPQ platform and Salesforce platform to ensure productivity and enhance end user experience Identify complex problems and create suggest solutions to resolve them Leading the integration of the platform with 3rd party applications and other tools Lead the evaluation of vendors for establishing a Managed Services model Ensures infrastructure architecture standards maximize efficiency and support platform compatibility Coordinates delivery of services to user groups and ensures IT service is uninterrupted Selects develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function Manage a team of Full-Stack Software Developers you will ensure they are empowered to deliver solutions that meet user and business requirements Adopt modern software development best practices and technology to drive towards an integrated quote-to-order experienceExperience Skills Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 12 years of directly related experience Full software development lifecycle implementation experience Hands on experience and understanding with Apttus CPQ CLM and Salesforce development Visualforce Apex Java AJAX Net HTML XML SQL CSS and REST-based web services Technically inclined with Service Cloud Sales Cloud and Community Cloud experience Knowledge of Front End skills with jQuery Bootstrap AngularJS Experience implementing Salesforce AppExchange products Experience on an Agile Scrum project delivered under Continuous Delivery DevOps Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language to non-technical staff and end users Critical thinker with solid deductive reasoning skills Demonstrated ability to effectively connect with senior leaders to solve sophisticated business problem Ability to work in a fast paced environment meeting the needs of a global business Following
