Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales and Business Development Manager to lead and manage product sales of aluminium billets and products for the Aluminium extrusion and forging industry across international and Indian markets. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in the aluminium industry with at least 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in aluminium billet sales.

This role demands a strategic thinker with excellent leadership, business development, and relationship-building skills to expand market presence and achieve business objectives. The role is based in Worli, Mumbai, with extensive travel locally and internationally to engage with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets in both international and Indian markets.
2. Identify and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive activities to formulate proactive business strategies.
3. Manage existing customers and clients and build relationships with existing regional teams.
4. Explore and expand business opportunities in existing and new markets for aluminium billets, targeting the extrusion and forging industry.
5. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, distributors, and industry stakeholders.
6. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to maximize profitability and client satisfaction.
7. Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and conferences to establish a strong brand presence.
8. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations, production planning, and on-time delivery.
9. Work closely with marketing, production, and logistics teams to ensure alignment of sales and operational strategies.
10. Provide market feedback and insights to guide product development and improve customer satisfaction.
11. Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and performance analyses for management review.
12. Monitor sales metrics and KPIs to ensure targets are met consistently.
13. Manage deliveries and coordinate with SCM, CS and production teams to achieve targets.

Qualifications and Experience

- Education: Minimum graduate (engineering or business degree preferred).
- Experience: At least 7 years in the aluminium industry, with a strong preference for candidates who have managed aluminium billet sales.
- Proven track record of successfully managing sales for international and domestic markets.
- Strong knowledge of the extrusion and forging industry and related applications.
