Python Developer – Python + MongoDB

About the Role We are hiring a Core Python Developer with strong experience in MongoDB to work on backend services that power the HealthSigns platform, including our EMR, Smart Scan, Smart Labs, transcription pipelines, and AI-driven clinical workflows. This role is central to building our Intelligence Kernel, which integrates AI reasoning, automation, and healthcare-grade data processing. Key Responsibilities Backend Development (Primary) - Develop backend services and REST APIs using Python. - Design MongoDB schemas, indexes, aggregation pipelines, and optimize query performance. - Implement background workers, task queues, and scalable data flows. - Integrate with AI/LLM outputs (transcription, Smart Scan, clinical reasoning). - Ensure system reliability, security, role-based access, and detailed audit logging. - Handle complex healthcare workflows involving EMR, orders, labs, and billing modules. Data & Platform Integration - Convert unstructured model output into validated, structured clinical data. - Build interfaces between backend, AI engines, and external systems (HIS/LIS/EMR). - Implement fallbacks, confidence scoring, and error-handling mechanisms. - Work closely with DevOps, QA, and frontend teams to deliver production-ready modules.
