This role is for one of the Weekday s clients Salary range Rs 1200000 - Rs 3000000 ie INR 12-30 LPA Min Experience 4 years Location India Hyderabad Mumbai Chennai JobType full-time We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Head of Business Development to lead growth initiatives across the Rest of the World ROW markets The role involves identifying potential clients building strong networks and driving business expansion through innovative strategies and partnerships The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in business development within the pharmaceutical biotechnology or life sciences domain combined with strong analytical and market research capabilities Requirements Key Responsibilities Identify potential clients in ROW markets and generate leads through multiple channels including internet research trade exhibitions and professional networking platforms Qualify prioritize and nurture leads into long-term business opportunities Engage with clients to understand their requirements conduct meetings and develop tailored business proposals Define and execute business development and marketing strategies in close collaboration with management and internal teams Represent the organization at international and national conferences to strengthen market presence Build and maintain a robust professional network to unlock new growth opportunities Research and analyze market dynamics industry trends and competitive landscapes to support decision-making Collaborate with project management teams to ensure timely and effective execution of product development aligned with client expectations Drive execution of planned marketing activities and campaigns in coordination with the business team Share market intelligence and industry insights regularly with business and leadership teams through newsletters reports and updates Qualifications Bachelor s or Master s degree in Pharmacy Biotechnology Life Sciences or a related field MBA preferred 4 to 15 years of proven experience in business development within the pharmaceutical biotechnology or life sciences sector What We Offer Competitive compensation package - salary is not a constraint for the right candidate High-impact leadership role with opportunities to shape growth strategies in global markets Skills Business Development Business Analysis Market Research Analytics Client Relationship Management Strategic Planning
