About the Role: We're looking for an experienced Tech Lead to architect and build scalable distributed systems and complex data pipelines. You'll lead a team of talented engineers, shape our backend architecture, and drive high-impact technical initiatives. This is your chance to shape technical strategy, build high-performing teams, and influence system architecture at scale. We value innovation, ownership, and engineering excellence. What you will do: - Lead the design & implementation of distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures using Go, Kafka, and Kubernetes. - Architect scalable, fault-tolerant data pipelines and optimize system performance. - Drive infrastructure automation with Kubernetes, GitOps (ArgoCD/Flux), and cloud-native practices. - Oversee monitoring & observability using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and distributed tracing. - Mentor and manage a team of 58 engineers fostering growth, leading sprints, and improving delivery metrics. - Collaborate with Product & Business teams to define roadmaps and lead major architectural decisions. What you bring: - 710 years in software engineering, with 4+ years in distributed systems. - 2+ years of team leadership or technical lead experience. - Deep expertise in Go, Kafka, microservices, and Kubernetes. - Strong grasp of database design & optimization (MySQL, MongoDB, Neo4j). - Proven success in scaling systems, optimizing performance, and managing production reliability. - Excellent communication, mentorship, and stakeholder management skills. Bonus: - Experience in FinTech, high-frequency systems, or MLOps. - Open-source contributions or public speaking. - Certifications (CKA, AWS/GCP Architect) and compliance exposure (SOC2, PCI-DSS).
