Job description We are currently looking for Plant Manager for our Leading Chemical Manufacturing industry located in Vapi Gujarat Designation Chemical Plant Manager Experience 10 Years Location Vapi Gujarat On-Roll Job Interview Mode Face to Face Compulsory Chemical Manufacturing Plant Manager Key Responsibilities Operations Management Oversee all aspects of daily plant operations including production maintenance quality control and logistics Plan and execute production schedules to meet demand optimize workflow and ensure maximum efficiency and productivity Safety and Compliance Implement and enforce strict safety protocols and procedures to create a secure working environment Ensure full compliance with all local state and federal regulations including those from OSHA and the EPA Lead safety audits incident investigations and implement corrective actions Team Leadership Manage a diverse team of supervisors engineers and plant operators Provide leadership guidance and mentorship to foster a high-performance culture Recruit train and develop staff to ensure the team has the skills needed to meet plant objectives Financial Management Develop and manage the plant s operational budget controlling costs related to labor raw materials and maintenance Analyze key performance indicators KPIs to identify areas for improvement reduce waste and increase profitability Process Improvement Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing performance Utilize methodologies like Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing to optimize processes improve product quality and reduce operational downtime Required Qualifications and Skills Education A bachelor s degree in Chemical Engineering Industrial Engineering or a related field is typically required Preferred a master s degree such as an MBA or M Tech in engineering management Experience Require 10 years of experience in the chemical petrochemical or refinery industries with a significant portion of that time spent in a management or leadership capacity Technical Skills In-depth knowledge of chemical production processes equipment and technology Proficiency in process control systems e g DCS PLC and a strong understanding of safety management protocols e g Process Safety Management or PSM are essential Core Competencies Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for managing a large team and collaborating with various stakeholders Strong problem-solving decision-making and organizational abilities are also vital for success in this role Interested candidates can send their updated cv to b hiring catalystshr com 9726782015 Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay Up to 2 300 000 00 per year Benefits Health insurance Provident Fund Work Location In person
