Job Title Senior Lead - Continuous ImprovementLocation PuneAbout Springer Nature GroupSpringer Nature opens the doors to discovery for researchers educators clinicians and other professionals Every day around the globe our imprints books journals platforms and technology solutions reach millions of people For over 175 years our brands and imprints have been a trusted source of knowledge to these communities and today more than ever we see it as our responsibility to ensure that fundamental knowledge can be found verified understood and used by our communities enabling them to improve outcomes make progress and benefit the generations that follow About the Brand Springer Nature is one of the worlds leading global research educational and professional publishers It is home to an array of respected and trusted brands and imprints with more than 180 years of combined history behind them providing quality content through a range of innovative products and services Every day around the globe our imprints books journals and resources reach millions of people helping researchers and scientists to discover students to learn and professionals to achieve their goals and ambitions The company has almost 13 000 staff in over 50 countriesAbout the Role You are a Continuous Improvement professional with a minimum of 6-8 years of experience in leading and implementing projects You have led and managed Six Sigma projects to improve processes reduce waste and enhance product and service quality within the organization You have a deep understanding of Six Sigma methodologies and the ability to apply them to a variety of complex problems You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and achieve strategic business goals Role Responsibilities Lead and manage multiple Six Sigma projects from discovery through completionConduct process mapping data analysis and statistical analysis to identify improvement opportunitiesDevelop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency reduce costs and improve qualityTrain and mentor Green Belts and other team members in Six Sigma methodologies and toolsCollaborate with local as well as global stakeholders to define project goals scope and deliverablesMonitor project progress track key performance indicators KPIs and report on results to senior managementFoster a culture of continuous improvement within the organizationExperience Skills Qualifications Bachelors or master degree in Engineering Business or a related fields or a comparable degree program Six Sigma Black Belt certificationExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyEffective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teamsWhat we would appreciate Knowledge of Publishing domain preferred but not mandatory Knowledge of Lean principlesEligibilityIn accordance with our internal career movement guidance 12 months in current role is a requirement before applying to a new role LI-SG2Job Posting End Date 31-05-2025
