Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Modern Trade Sales Manager located in Mumbai. The Modern Trade Sales Manager will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with business planning in line with greater strategy for MT expansion. Able to handle multiple state ( Maharashtra, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat etc.)

Experience : 7-10 Years (Modern Trade Sales)

Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field

Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Experience in Modern Trade Sales preferably in Tea or Food segments.

Familiarity with MT platforms and retail chains

Strong business planning and analytical skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Strong Leadership & able to manager team, promoter, merchandiser

Responsibility

Strategic Planning & Market Development

· Develop & Execute Business Planning to MT Channels.

· Implementing plans for increasing market share through brand awareness, & advertisements.

· Map opportunity markets and identify relevant tea category products through data mining

· Drive short-term and long-term market penetration strategies

Sales & Channel Management

· Modern Trade, Hyper Market, Metro, Big Basket, Reliance, Patel Store, D-mart, Walmart and Super Store

Business proficiency

· Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines & Achieve sales targets and ensure

consistent growth in MT segment

Relationship & Stakeholder Management

· Develop and Manage relationships with Modern Trade clients, vendors, and business partners

· Negotiating at regional level contracts with new vendors and clients as well as terminating contracts

with existing clients or vendors when necessary

· Co ordinating MT partners to ensure that they arrive on time and without delayed

· Establishing & managing relationships with agencies & customers to ensure smooth operations

· Coordinating with internal departments to ensure that all domestic business operations run smoothly

Marketing & Brand Development

· Implement brand awareness campaigns and product launches in MT channels.

· Collaborate with marketing teams to drive advertising and promotional activities

Reporting & Analysis

· Prepare financial reports detailing sales performance, ROI, and profit margins.

· Analyze market trends and customer data to inform business decisions.

· Managing the inventory of goods held in storage facilities, including monitoring stock levels and

ordering replacements when necessary

Cross-functional Co ordinations

· Managing the supply chain process from procurement to shipment to customer delivery
