Job Role: HR Intern

Job Location: Hyderabad

Role Description

As an HR Intern at SmartWinnr, you will gain hands-on experience across various HR functions in a dynamic SaaS environment. You’ll support recruitment, employee engagement, and talent operations while working closely with experienced professionals. This internship offers a great opportunity to develop a solid foundation in modern HR practices and make a meaningful contribution to a fast-growing organization.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

- Assist with end-to-end recruitment activities such as job postings, resume screening, and interview coordination, data management.
- Communicate with candidates via calls/emails and ensure a smooth interview experience
- Help onboard new hires by coordinating documentation and induction processes

Employee Engagement & Culture

- Support in organizing internal employee engagement activities.
- Assist in maintaining an engaging, and positive work culture

HR Operations & Documentation

- Maintain and organize employee records and HR databases with accuracy
- Assist with drafting HR communications, letters, and reports

Requirements

Educational Background

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

Technical & Professional Skills

- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with HRMS tools is a plus
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualities

- Self-motivated and proactive approach
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Previous internship or project experience in HR or related fields is advantageous
- Understanding of basic HR principles and best practices
