Department/Function: Information Technology 3. Reporting Structure: - Reports to: Finance & Investor Relations - Direct Reports: Depends 4. Role Summary: As the Head of IT & Systems at Immuneel Therapeutics Pvt Ltd, you will be responsible for planning, identifying, implementing, and managing all aspects of our IT System and infrastructure including ERP Application Need to collaborate closely with department heads to ensure the effective delivery of IT solutions that support our business objectives. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to align technology initiatives with the company’s strategic goals. 5. Key Responsibilities: 1. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and procedures in line with the organization's objectives. Identify opportunities forleveraging technology to enhance business processes and drive innovation 2. Team Leadership: Provide effective leadership and management to the IT department, including recruitment, training, performance management, and professional development of team members. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the department. 3. IT Operations: Overseethe day-to-day operations of the IT department, ensuring the smooth functioning of IT systems, networks, and infrastructure. Monitor system performance, security, and data integrity. Implement best practices and industry standards to optimize IT operations. 4. Information Security: Develop and implement robustinformation security policies (ISMS) and procedures to protect the organization's data and IT assets. Monitor and assesspotential risks and vulnerabilities. Coordinate incident response and disaster recovery efforts 5. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior executives, department heads, and other stakeholders to understand their IT needs and align IT initiatives with business goals. Provide guidance and support in leveraging technology for process improvements and operational efficiencies. 6. Technology Evaluation and Implementation: Stayabreast of emerging technologies and industry trends. Evaluate the suitability of new technologies for the organization and oversee their successful implementation. Drive digitaltransformation and IT Automation initiatives. 7. Budget Management: Develop and manage the IT budget,ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources. Identify and prioritize IT initiatives based on business needs and available resources. Monitor and control IT expenditures. 8. Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with external vendors, suppliers, and service providers. Evaluate and select vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor performance. Ensure compliance with service level agreements and contractual obligations. 9. Regulatory Compliance: Responsible for ensuring compliance of all GxPsoftware and software-based systems to applicable regulations like HIPAA, FDA etc. Provide guidance and support in the preparation and development of IT policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure policies and SOPs align with industry’s best practices and organisational objectives. 10. Guidanceand Support: Offer guidance and support to IT staff members, assisting them in their daily activities, problem-solving, and decision-making processes. Provide expertise and technical knowledge to help resolve complex issues 11. Review and approval of QMS documents as required. 6. Primary Objectives: 1. Ensure High Availability and Reliability of IT Systems: Maintain uptime and reliability of critical IT systems to support uninterrupted research, development, manufacturing, and regulatory operations. That supports the company’s goal of operational excellence by minimizing downtime and ensuring continuous access to essential IT resources. 2. IT Security and Compliance: Implement robust cybersecurity measures and ensure compliance with industry regulations (such as GxP, FDA guidelines). That mitigates risks associated with data breaches or non-compliance, safeguarding sensitive information and maintaining trust with regulatory bodies 3. Implement Robust Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plans: Develop and maintain comprehensive plans for disaster recovery and business continuity to minimize disruptions. Mitigating risks associated with IT outages or disasters, ensuring resilience and readiness to respond to emergencies. 7. Competencies Required: - Technical Competencies: 1. Familiarity with configuring and managing SIEMs, IPSEC, Firewall, TLS/SSL Encryption applications/devices. 2. Experience in information security and/or IT risk management with a focus on security, performance, and reliability. 3. Familiarity with IT infrastructure components, including networks, servers, storage, and security protocols. 4. Understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms. - Soft Skills: 1.
