- Job Description:-
As the Merchant Onboarding Sales Manager for UPI Payment Integration, you will be responsible for driving sales and expanding our merchant base by promoting and selling our UPI payment solutions. You will lead a team of sales representatives and work closely with internal stakeholders to identify potential merchant partners, establish strong relationships, and facilitate the integration of our UPI payment system into their business operations. Your goal will be to meet and exceed sales targets while ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for merchants.
- Responsibilities:-
1. - Sales Strategy - Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company targets for merchant acquisition and revenue growth.
2. - Team Leadership - Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to effectively prospect, qualify leads, and close deals with merchants.
3. - Market Research - Conduct market research to identify potential merchant segments and prioritize target industries for sales efforts.
4. - Lead Generation - Generate leads through cold calling, networking, attending industry events, and leveraging online channels to build a robust pipeline of prospective merchants.
5. - Client Relationship Management - Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants, understanding their business needs and providing personalized solutions to meet their payment processing requirements.
6. - Proposal Development - Prepare and present compelling proposals and presentations to prospective merchants, highlighting the benefits of integrating our UPI payment system.
7. - Contract Negotiation - Negotiate terms and pricing with merchants, ensuring alignment with company objectives and profitability targets.
8. - Cross-functional Collaboration - Collaborate with internal teams, including product development, marketing, and customer support, to ensure successful onboarding and implementation of UPI payment solutions.
9. - Performance Tracking - Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze sales data, and provide regular reports to management on progress towards sales goals.
- Qualifications:-
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Proven track record of success in sales management, preferably in the fintech or payments industry.
- Deep understanding of UPI payment systems and familiarity with the Indian digital payments landscape.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team to achieve targets.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
- Experience with CRM software and other sales tools preferred.
