Job Description: Job Title: Fund Reporting. Financial Reporting Team - Asset Servicing - Fund Reporting Qualification: Qualified or Semi Qualified CA/ICMA/CPA/ACCA/CFA, MBA Finance, Masters/ bachelor's degree in commerce. Experience: Fresher or 2+ years of work experience in statutory reporting, fund accounting, financial reporting, fund administration with experience in external client and audit interactions as part of financial statement finalization in corporate or CA firms. Working experience with Big 4 audit firms or administrators will be added advantage. Role Summary: • Preparation of annual and semi-annual financial statements (including work papers incorporated in fund calculations for complex funds/client performance) in accordance with GAAP and regulatory requirements like SEC, IRS for mutual funds/Hedge funds and perform self-review to ensure completeness and accuracy of disclosure in FS. • Good understanding and knowledge in accounting principles & preparation of financial statements based on US GAAP (preferable) or IFRS. • Participates in pre and post reporting cycle project initiatives and work-streams. • Ensure financial reports meet clients and any applicable regulatory standards. Follow process changes needed to ensure compliance with any new standards. • Support team leads in developing and executing action plans for overall quality and production standards. • Keeps him/herself constantly informed of regulatory, industry changes, and other developments and disseminate the information to the wider team. • Effective use of reporting systems like Eagle, InvestOne, Fund Suite SX, Report Builder, ARC, Confluence and makes recommendations for system enhancements where required. • Follow all key controls that are in place like checklists and procedures. • Contribute to process improvements by sharing ideas and working with team. Primary responsibilities include: Technical/Functional: • Work on preparation of annual and semi-annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. • Working relationships within team to prepare/ make changes to financial statements and ensure they are accurately processed. • Understanding and knowledge in accounting principles & preparation of financial statements. • Ensure financial statements prepared meet quality standard. • Assists with coordination of activities between multiple departments within the organization, including our global partners. • Draft and update task lists ensure all supporting documentation is available. • Ensures effective use of reporting platform. • Proactively managing risk at the business level, takes full accountabilities for all steps of production. • Ensure all key controls and checklists are followed. Shift Timings: 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM/2:30 PM - 11:00 PM IST (Should be flexible to work as pre client deliverables and other ad-hoc requests).
